On April 30, Changzhou Waston Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. Longmen Road base completion and project signing ceremony was held in Wujin High-Tech Industry Zone.

Waston Medical Longmen Road Base (headquarters Factory No. 3) is located in the north of Longmen Road and the west of Wuyi South Road, the total investment of the project is 1 billion yuan, and the new production and auxiliary rooms exceed 68,000 square meters. After the completion of the project, the production scale can reach an annual output of 250,000 pieces (sets) of artificial joints and instruments, 250,000 pieces (sets) of spine and other orthopedic implants, 250,000 sets of sports medicine devices and minimally invasive medical devices, and is expected to increase sales revenue of 1 billion yuan.

At the ceremony, Hu Renmin, chairman of the Group, made an opening speech, reviewed the glorious years of Waston Medical along the way and introduced the development plan of Longmen Road Base and affirmed the great significance of the new factory for the development of new projects. This speech set the direction for the group's development in the coming years.

On the same day, under the witness of group leaders, guests and Wujin District leaders, Waston Medical signed a contract with subsidiaries such as Jiufang Biological, WastonOrtho Medical, Zhenghe Medical and Lianli Tools.

Jiufang Biological was established in cooperation between Waston Medical and Shenzhen Tsinghua Research Institute, focusing on the research and development, production and sales of biological materials such as bone cement for joint use and artificial bone. The construction of production workshops is difficult. With the support of Waston Medical, Jiufang Biological has completed the whole process of research and development of bone cement products, and the products are expected to be certified in 2026, and the sales volume is expected to reach more than 100 million yuan in 5 years.
